Overview

Prof. Leen is Chair and Head of Mechanical Engineering at NUIG and is a Co-PI of the I-Form Research Centre for Advanced Manufacturing. His research focusses on damage and fatigue of composite materials for marine applications, analysis and testing of tidal turbines, with over 120 publications and funding of €7m. He is an IMechE editorial board member for Journal of Strain Analysis and Journal of Materials: Design & Applications
