OVERVIEW 

Elaine is MaREI’s Doctoral Training Co-ordinator,  responsible for the co-ordination of the MaREI Doctoral Training Programme including the EPSRC-SFI funded Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Energy Resilience in the Built Environment (ERBE). The CDT promotes excellence in research through the training of cohorts of doctoral students and the fostering of collaboration between UK and ROI based researchers.

BACKGROUND

Elaine holds an M.Sc. in Zoology & a H. Dip in Management & Marketing from U.C.C, in addition to having 20 years Sales & Marketing experience in the Irish & International Pharmaceutical Industry. Previous roles include Marketing/ Training Manager roles and more recently within UCC roles as Client Engagement Officer with STEAM education, EU Grants Officer at APC Microbiome and Programme Manager PPI Ignite Network @ UCC.
