OVERVIEW 

Róisín is a Research Assistant on the ENTYRE project at UCC, a project investigating the various End of Life Tyre Management strategies to determine which will be most beneficial in an Irish context. The project is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Róisín completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology and worked as an intern for Inland Fisheries Ireland. She then spent 7 months as a laboratory scientist at Weatherbys, a bovine genetics lab.

ENTYRE

ENTYRE is aimed at performing a deep review of existing practices and literature regarding utilisation pathways of waste EOL tyres in terms of their techno-economic and environmental impacts as well as from the light of current and upcoming local (Irish) and international (EU) policies.
