The Macroom History Group has announced details of an upcoming event On Tuesday, January 14, there will be a discussion on climate history and the future, with guest speaker on the night Professor Hannah Daly of University College Cork (UCC).
Ms Daly, a professor in sustainable energy at UCC, communicates widely on the topic of climate action in Ireland, including writing a monthly column, ‘At A Time Of Climate Crisis’, for the .
She also has previously worked at the International Energy Agency (IEA), leading the topic of energy development for the World Energy Outlook (WEO), and at the UCL Energy Institute, developing the UK TIMES Model (UKTM).
