EPRI Hybrid Selenium Summit

The 2024 Selenium Summit meeting is being held in Dublin, Ireland at the Clontarf Castle. This meeting will be hybrid, offering those unable to travel internationally the opportunity to participate virtually. The summit is a forum to discuss and present current state of technology regarding Selenium treatment/removal and beneficial reuse from impacted waters.

To provide information on tools, methods, and technology that enable selenium treatment and removal from industrial process water as well as identify microbes relevant to wastewater treatment in power generation and mining applications, focusing on passive and biological systems related to denitrification, selenium reduction, and biochemical conversions of other species.

Presentations will be given by recognized selenium experts, including those in the biological, chemical, and geologically based treatment. This meeting will be of interest to a student, professional, government official, utility-based engineer, equipment manufacturer, consultant or a researcher that is interested in the most up to date research concerning the capture and reuse of selenium (i.e. Circular economy) .
