Live from the European Parliament via Zoom Webinar, this event – hosted by Colm Markey MEP – will hear from Ryanair CEO, Michael O’Leary, on Ryanair’s roadmap to achieve Europe’s climate goals in relation to the greening of aviation and the uptake of sustainable aviation fuels. We will also hear from Beatriz Yordi of the European Commission, who will give a Commission perspective on expectations for the aviation sector in the context of the ‘Fit for 55’ package. Trinity College Dublin’s Dr. Stephen Dooley will provide insights into the current availability of sustainable aviation fuels, how much more are needed and what we can do to meet our climate targets.
