2 MaREI Researchers Appointed to the Royal Irish Academy Committee
Congratulations to MaREI researchers Vikram Pakrashi & Dr Marguerite Nyhan on being appointed to the Engineering & Computer Science Committee at the Royal Irish Academy.
The Engineering and Computer Science Committee is an all-island multidisciplinary committee formed in September 2014. Committee members represent academia, media, industry and government. The main functions of the committee are to address issues of national and international concern through a programme of works, advise the Academy on policy formation and act as the national adhering organisation for international unions including the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM) and the International Union of Radio Science (URSI).
