OpenLab – PORTOS

As part of the PORTOS Project and MaREI, the SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine, are inviting the local community and stakeholders to Lir National Ocean Test Facility in the Beaufort Building in Ringaskiddy.
Visitors will be welcome to engage with speakers from academia and industry where they will present their outlooks on the marine renewable energy industry. Tours of the labs will be available, including demonstrations of technologies in the ocean tank and wave and tidal flume. There will also be competitions for students on renewables and sustainability.
