OVERVIEW 

Cathal is working as a research assistant under Rory Scarrott on the DOORS Black Sea project, assisting on GIS, Earth Observation and general administrative tasks associated with the project wherever needed. He has a keen interest in furthering his skill set working with GIS/EO applications and in the area of climate adaptation strategies.

BACKGROUND

He graduated from his undergraduate degree in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts (Joint Honours) in Geography and Sociology. Following this, he completed his Masters degree in Applied Coastal and Marine Management (2021-2022) and will graduate in Spring 2023.
