Overview

Dr. Popovici is a Senior Lecturer at UCC and Director of the Embedded.Systems@UCC research group (Irish Engineering Lab of the year 2016). Dr. Popovici received a Dipl. Ing. Degree in Computer Engineering in 1997 and a PhD in Microelectronics in 2002. His research includes low power IoT and their applications in the energy industry and smart grids, embedded systems design, and AI for computing and communications.
