OVERVIEW
Kate is currently completing a summer research internship on the H-Wind project where she will be conducting a survey on electrolyser costs and technical characteristics, completing a modeling/simulation on an offshore wind/hydrogen plant along with assisting the rest of the team with various duties.
BACKGROUND
Kate is a Mature Student heading into her 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering at University College Cork and intends to complete the Master’s program within this discipline. She also has completed a Level 7 Special Purpose Award in Biomedical Device Manufacturing after working in that industry for several years.
