Senior Technical Officer – Lir

UCC wishes to recruit a Senior Technical Officer for the Environmental Research Institute Lir National Ocean Test Facility (NOTF) located in the Beaufort Building in Ringaskiddy. The Senior Technical Officer will work within the Offshore Renewable Energy Research (ORE) Group within MaREI, the SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine. The Senior Technical Officer will report to the Lir NOTF Manager.

UCC wishes to appoint a Senior Technical Officer (STO) for the Environmental Research Institute Lir National Ocean Test Facility (NOTF) located in the Beaufort Building in Ringaskiddy. Reporting to the Head of Lir NOTF, the STO will work within the Offshore Renewable Energy Research (ORE) Group in MaREI, the SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine. Lir NOTF houses Ireland’s only infrastructure for small to medium scale laboratory testing of ocean and maritime systems and has expert support personnel and a track record stretching back to 1977.

Appointment may be made on the Senior Technical Officer Salary Scale: €65,879 – €75,886 (Scale B) / €62,694 – €72,200 (Scale A) (LSI payable after 3 years on max. point: €77,480 Scale B / €73,713 Scale A)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
